Immediately after Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to leave for Canada and relinquish their royal duties, Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, and Meghan's sister, Samantha Markle, reacted hastily.
Initially, in a soon-to-air documentary "Thomas Markle: My Story", Meghan's father called his daughter and Prince Harry "lost souls."
Markle said he was shocked to learn of the decision the couple made. Referring to her daughter, the 75-year-old said she had, in fact, ruined every girl's dream of becoming a princess one day: â??Every girl wants one day to be a princess. She had this and trampled it down, "Markle told the 90-minute documentary, which will air in the coming weeks.
Samantha Markle, in an article in the British Sun, accuses her sister of wanting to do great harm to the royal family, even going so far as to say her sister chose wealth over the family.
â?? My sister fell like a tornado in the royal family. Her goal is to be famous and be part of Hollywood. She has humiliated our father in the media. Thomas was really a wonderful father . "
Samantha has harshly criticized her sister, even adding that she knew the weight of that family and that she had to consider everything, whether or not she was ready to join.
"The 93-year-old queen doesn't have to go through this stress and watch her family disintegrate."
She says that the only thing Meghan cares about is fame and that she fears she will ever find true happiness, satisfaction within the family.
"I love my sister, but I don't like the person she is now."
