Adriano Celentano sent a long message to young people through social media inviting everyone to abide by the rules and avoid dangerous gatherings during this second wave of infections.
He calls young people who come out without masks dumb fools and calls their gatherings mass madness.
Adriano Celentano's full message:
"Hey girls and boys, I think it's time to move on! I address above all young people. They are young only physically, but for the rest they are very old.
You have to forgive me, but it is something I have always thought of since I was physically young, like you. Today I am 82 years old and for my age, you should hold me in your arms and caress me as is done with little ones, because only by petting me will you be able to dispel the idiocies that the deniers say. And I'm not just talking about those who criminally deny the extermination of Jews by Nazism, much less refer to medical-television debates. Thankfully we have doctors, if it were not for them to use us on this dramatic journey, we would be even more lost than those ata young people. So, the real deniers are the "young ones" who come out without masks, to show a test of strength, which is a bit foolish. Gather in dangerous groups without the minimum of social distancing,
No. This is massive nonsense. Of course, we should not panic, as the doctors rightly say, we should leave home and meet, keep company, not stop studying, working, did everything as if the virus were not, because if the economy collapses, we will not only die from the virus, but also from starvation.
Therefore we have a goal to achieve. Probably the most important thing in history. Because it will be that of victory. And we know how to win: We must follow 100% of the rules of the World Health Organization. We absolutely must do it. Otherwise, you boys and girls who gather, have no idea what might happen. But I trust you! ”
