Italian presenter Diletta Leotta and well-known actor of Albanian origin Can Yaman, have recently been included in a stream of news about their love affair. A part of the Italian media, but also the Turkish ones, have suspected the romance of the two young people, and have even recently written about a crisis in the couple. Although none of the characters have appeared in public statements to clarify the speculation, the news has continued to the point that it is thought that Diletta, after splitting from Can Yaman, has started a love story with the son of Rome club president Ryan Friedkin. They were seen together in a hotel and here all the allusions arose.
However, Diletta has finally reacted tired of these rumors and accusations. On her Instagram profile, in a long and harsh status, the presenter writes that nothing is true from the latest rumors.
" I have always been silent, but so far. I deceived myself when I thought that sooner or later the good news would prevail over waste journalism. I became part of the gossip poison, photographers down the house, scooters coming after my every move, drones out the windows, but now I'm tired.
I say this because by reading the lies in the newspapers that are written about me every day, anyone can think that I am a man-eater, a woman incapable of love. And this is unacceptable. Do not tell me that this is the price to pay for success. I do not offend or judge anyone. Explain to me why then, a woman can not have friends, but always only loved ones? Because if I meet a good guy twice for an aperitif, are we talking about new love right away? Why if I do an ad with a footballer, shows that we are a secret couple? Because, if I hang out with a beautiful actor and we are happy, should it be a made-up story? And if, because of quarantine, I give up on a great trip abroad, are we talking about a crisis between us?
I have endured everything so far, but I think no famous man is subject to journalistic attention in the private sphere like a woman. Can I tell you that I am upset both for the readers who are deceived by uninformed journalists, and for the people around me who are often hurt by lies, and for my 80-year-old grandmother, who believes everything the newspapers write.
Stop! It took me a long time, I apologize for this, but as they say in Rome, "what is to be done, will be done" .
