
Kosovo Security Force and police units paraded in the center of Pristina on Thursday, as part of events marking the 14th anniversary of Kosovo's declaration of independence.
During the day, leaders of institutions raised the state flag, laid wreaths at the statues of the country's former political and military leaders, and honored the fallen and missing during the recent war.
The Parliament of Kosovo convened in a solemn session to mark this anniversary, in which the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that the freedom of the country has not yet been fulfilled, as more than 1,600 people who went missing by force are still missing, the lighting of whose fate, she said, is being held hostage by Serbia.
On an extraordinary day like today, congratulations from the leaders of the two countries and the most important political leaders and actors of public life in Albania and Kosovo have been present since early in the morning.
