Robert De Niro just introduced his baby girl to the world.
The actor revealed on Tuesday that he recently welcomed his seventh child, aged 79, and shared the first details on CBS Mornings.
The girl's name is Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, a fruit of love with girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
A source has said that the couple is "over the moon" about the youngest member of the family.
“I was blown away when I heard he had another baby,” writer Shawn Levy, author of 2014's “De Niro: A Life,” told Page Six. “I mean, he's going to be 102 when the baby is done the college. I think it's crazy. At the same time I must say that he is an absolutely wonderful father. In fact, one of the most important achievements of his life is keeping close to his children and ex-partners."
In 2020, De Niro told People that he didn't push his kids to be famous, but he didn't stop them either.
“I tell them, 'If you want to be an actor or you want to do this or that, it's fine as long as you're happy. Just don't sell yourself cheap," he said, adding, "It's important that they find their lane. I mean, there's no way around it with kids. I don't like laying down the law and stuff like that. But sometimes you just have no choice. And any parent, I think, would say the same. You always want to do the right thing by kids and give them the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you can't."
